Passive electromagnetic identification & diagnostics — a sensing layer that reveals device identity, operating status, and circuit health without any modification, transmission, or device access.
Every electronic device continuously emits electromagnetic signals as an intrinsic byproduct of its operation. These emissions carry a unique fingerprint — one that encodes the device's identity, its current operating state, and the condition of its internal circuitry.
EMtrinsic captures and decodes these fingerprints using proprietary acquisition hardware and a purpose-built intelligence pipeline, converting raw device emissions into structured, actionable insight.
The platform requires no physical access, no network connectivity, and no modification to the devices under observation — making it deployable wherever device intelligence is needed.
Emissions inherent to every electronic device reveal identity, operating status, and circuit health — all from a single passive measurement.
Advanced proprietary hardware built on compact, low-cost components — designed for real-world deployment at scale.
A purpose-built intelligence pipeline that turns device emission data into structured, actionable device intelligence.
Nothing is transmitted. No device access, network connection, or hardware modification required.

The EMtrinsic pipeline transforms device emissions into structured intelligence — enabling accurate identification and continuous monitoring without any interaction with the device under observation.
EMtrinsic is a genuine dual-use technology — the same platform serves civilian industry and security applications alike, from factory floors to critical infrastructure. Developed in the EU, with a receive-only, responsible-use posture built in from the start. We are validating these applications with pilot partners now — early partners shape where the platform goes first.
Continuously monitor the operating state of industrial equipment — detecting deviations and anomalies before they escalate into failure. No wired sensors, no protocol integration, no installation downtime.
Identify the early signatures of component degradation and impending failure, enabling maintenance decisions based on actual device condition — reducing costs and unplanned downtime.
Passively detect, identify, and track electronic devices within a space or perimeter — without active scanning or device cooperation. Applicable across security, defence, and critical infrastructure protection.
Screen devices for functional anomalies before they enter a diagnostic or repair workflow — enabling rapid, objective triage that reduces technician time and improves throughput.
Verify that electronics perform within specification at the production line — passively detecting assembly defects, component variation, and process drift before products leave the factory.
Assess device condition and history non-invasively, enabling informed repair-versus-replace decisions and extending product lifetimes — reducing electronic waste at scale.
EMtrinsic was established with backing from Innovation Fund Denmark and EIFO. We have moved quickly from concept to demonstrated performance and are now advancing toward proprietary hardware and industry pilots.
Company founded in Denmark with backing from Innovation Fund Denmark and EIFO.
Our first physical proof of concept achieved greater than 90% accuracy in identifying unique individual devices of identical make and model — demonstrating that our approach works at the level of device individuality, not just device class.
We are currently validating our analysis pipeline on EMtrinsic's own proprietary hardware platform for fingerprint acquisition — purpose-built to deliver a step-change in performance over the proof-of-concept setup.
We are actively seeking industry partners for structured pilot tests of the EMtrinsic device intelligence platform within condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, situational awareness, and pre-diagnostic screening. Pilots are short and time-boxed, with success criteria agreed upfront and a findings report delivered to every partner. If you operate in one of these areas, we want to hear from you.
Following pilot validation, EMtrinsic will advance toward a commercial hardware and software offering — purpose-built for deployment in industrial, security, and service environments.
EMtrinsic is built on a diverse and complementary team of four founders, led by PhD in Neuroscience Søren Emil Nørr. Together the team covers the full stack of capabilities required to take the platform from science to product.
